School Report Card
Dear Fairview Elementary Families,
We provide regular updates to you about your student’s academic progress through progress reports, report cards, assessment results, and parent-teacher conferences. We also share updates about our school’s overall performance through the North Carolina School Report Card.
The NC School Report Cards inform families and the community about how schools are performing. This Report Card includes important information about school and student performance, class sizes, attendance, school safety, instructional resources, and teacher quality. It also outlines how our school’s performance compares to district and state results.
We are proud of the dedication of our staff and the hard work of the children we serve. Based on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade End-of-Grade (EOG) assessments at the end of the 2024–2025 school year, Fairview Elementary students exceeded growth in reading, science, and overall performance, and met growth in math. Fairview Elementary maintained a school performance grade of B.
While the school performance grade is based only on 3rd–5th grade EOG results, these numbers tell only part of our story. Fairview Elementary has many strengths that go beyond test scores — from our dedicated staff who are committed to serving students and families, to the academic and social growth happening at every grade level that is not reflected on the NC School Report Card.
We will continue to make school a fun, engaging, and hands-on learning environment through our HOUSE System, AgTech, and STEM programs, along with a variety of family events supported by our staff and PTO volunteers. Our goal is to make Fairview a place where students are eager to learn, grow, and connect with their peers.
